The Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame ble startet av Buffalo Bisons organisasjonen i 1985 for å hedre tidligere medlemmer av Buffalo Bisons (1878, 1887-1888), Buffalo Bisons (1879-1885), Buffalo Bisons (1886-1970), Buffalo Bisons ( 1890), Buffalo Blues (1914–1915), Buffalo Bisons (1979 – nåværende), og andre bidragsytere til profesjonell baseball i Western New York.
Plaketter som hedrer alle medlemmer av Buffalo Baseball Hall of Fame vises permanent i Hall of Fame og Heritage Room på Sahlen Field .
