Kjære Amerika - Dear America

Dear America er en serie historiske skjønnlitteraturromaner for eldre barn utgitt av Scholastic som startet i 1996. Innen 1998 hadde serien 12 titler med 3,5 millioner eksemplarer på trykk. Serien ble kansellert i 2004 med den endelige utgivelsen, Hear My Sorrow . Den ble imidlertid relansert høsten 2010. Hver bok er skrevet i form av en dagbok om en ung kvinnes liv under viktige begivenheter eller tidsperioder i amerikansk historie. 2010 Re-launch

Dear America-serien ble lansert i september 2010 med sin første nye bok siden 2004, The Fences Between Us av Kirby Larson , satt under andre verdenskrig, samt gjenutgivelser av tidligere bøker.
