Foxstar Productions var et datterselskap for TV -produksjon av News Corporation . Det ble grunnlagt i 1993 for å lage TV-filmer og miniserier under Steve Bell (den tidligere nettverksproduksjonspresidenten for 20th Century Fox Television ) og produsenten Kevin Burns . Samme år gikk de inn i TV -dokumentarvirksomheten gjennom produksjonsdatterselskapet Van Ness Films.

Mange av programmene deres har og kan sees på nettverk som A&E , CBS , National Geographic Channel , E! , Animal Planet , AMC , Bravo , We TV , Travel Channel , Lifetime , The History Channel og Syfy .

I 1999 ble Foxstar en del av de nyopprettede Fox Television Studios og fortsatte å produsere dokumentarer, sakprosa-programmering og spesialtilbud. I 2005 hadde Kevin Burns allerede flere sakprosa-programmer under Promingheus Entertainment- singelen.

I 2005 ble Foxstar Productions oppløst og brettet inn i Fox Television Studios (den gang Fox 21 Television Studios, senere Touchstone Television til den brettet seg inn i 20th Television i 2020).
