Atlanta Technical College (Atlanta Tech eller ATC) er en offentlig teknisk høyskole i Atlanta, Georgia . Det er en del av Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) og tilbyr utdanningstjenester for Fulton og Clayton fylker. Atlanta Tech er akkreditert av Southern Association of Colleges and Schools for å tildele tilknyttede grader, vitnemål og tekniske kredittbevis.
Historie
ATC ble opprinnelig opprettet i 1945 etter andre verdenskrig som en fagskole for voksne ved navn Smith-Hughes Vocational School . I 1964 ble skolens beliggenhet flyttet til Smith High School (nå stengt), og skolen ble omdøpt til Hoke Smith Technical Institute . På den tiden ble det tilbudt om lag 24 yrkesprogrammer.
I 1967 ble skolen omorganisert som Atlanta Area Technical School og ble flyttet til sin nåværende campus, og holdt de første klassene i de nye fasilitetene i januar 1968.
I 1997 ble skolens navn endret til Atlanta Technical Institute og institusjonen ble en del av Georgia Department of Technical and Adult Education. 1. juli 2000 ble navnet endret til Atlanta Technical College .

Atlanta Techs hovedcampus ligger på 1560 Metropolitan Parkway, SW, i Atlanta. Skolen har også et utvidelsescampus på 485 Atlanta South Pkwy, Atlanta, GA 30349.
