New Mexicos første kongressdistrikt i Representantenes hus serverer det sentrale området av New Mexico , inkludert de fleste av Bernalillo County , alle Torrance County , og deler av Sandoval , Santa Fe og Valencia fylker. Det inkluderer nesten tre fjerdedeler av Albuquerque . Distriktet har en bemerkelsesverdig indianertilstedeværelse , som omfatter flere pueblos, inkludert Pueblo of Laguna og Sandia Pueblo , og Tohajiilee Navajo -reservatet utenfor Albuquerque.
