Bronx County Historical Society er en felles sponsor med Fordham Universitys avdeling for afrikanske og afroamerikanske studier av Bronx African American History Project. Over 230 muntlige historier har blitt samlet så langt, fjorten tilhørende arkivsamlinger har fått tilgang, og mange bøker, artikler, foredrag, musikaler, minnesmerker og utstillinger har blitt produsert. De muntlige historiene blir katalogisert ved Bronx County Archives.

I 2010 lanserte foreningen Bronx Latino History Project, som fremhever latinoer som levde eller bidro til Bronx gjennom historien. BCHS forskningsbibliotek

Bronx County Historical Society Research Library er det eneste anlegget i New York City som utelukkende er dedikert til innsamling, bevaring og formidling av historien og arven til Bronx. Forskningsbiblioteket huser over 7000 bøker, kataloger, hefter, aviser og tidsskrifter, og et økende antall finnes nå også i digitale formater, i tillegg til mer enn 200 atlas og arkkart. Bronx County Archives

Bronx County Historical Society grunnla Bronx County Archives i 1974 for å fungere som et depot for Bronx kommunale poster. Siden den datoen har Bronx County Archives anskaffet en dedikert bygning som ligger ved siden av The Bronx County Historical Society Research Library, utstyrt med fukt- og temperaturkontrollert lagringsplass. Nasjonale landemerke historiske hus

I tillegg til Bronx County Historical Society Research Library og Bronx County Archives, administrerer Bronx County Historical Society også to nasjonale historiske landemerker, Edgar Allan Poe Cottage , det tidligere hjemmet til den amerikanske forfatteren Edgar Allan Poe, og Valentine– Varian House , et våningshus i kolonialtiden som også er vert for Museum of Bronx History.
