De gylne Joystick Awards , også kjent som Folks Gaming Awards , er et videospill prisutdelingen ; den tildeler årets beste videospill , som opprinnelig ble stemt frem av den britiske allmennheten, men kan nå stemmes på av alle på nettet. Fra 2018 var seremonien i sitt 36. år. Det er den nest eldste videospillutdelingen etter Arcade Awards .
Prisene ble opprinnelig fokusert på dataspill , men ble senere utvidet til også å omfatte konsollspill , på grunn av suksessen til videospillkonsoller som Sega Master System og Sega Mega Drive i Storbritannia. Seremonien er ikke relatert til prisen som gis bort til vellykkede deltakere på GamesMaster , et britisk TV -show.
